I’m a history hunter. I enjoy delving into baffling mysteries, searching for lost treasures and investigating unsolved cold cases. Most of all, I share the stories I find. My books have won numerous awards and continue to take me on exciting journeys of discovery to the places where history happened.

Recent publications include the History Hunter chapter book series. Following The Vanishing and The Dragon’s Treasure, the latest books in that series are The Wonder Horse and The Deadly Diamond. 

My latest picture books are Lucky’s Star, the story of a meteorite, illustrated by Lucia Masciullo, and The Legend of Jessie Hickman, illustrated by Frané Lessac. Frané and I are also thrilled that our beloved Midnight gets to ride once again in a fabulous new edition of Midnight – the story of a light horse.

In 2026, the next two mysteries in the History Hunter series will be published. Keep an eye out for The Unlucky Pirate and The Crystal Skulls.
